ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation Level)
The course Software Testing covers a superset of the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification syllabus. Hence, in addition to the ordinary exam, students have the possibility to get certified as ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level. The certification exam was in the past held in cooperation by the Norwegian Testing board and Endurmenntun Háskóla Íslands.
In 2016, the Icelandic Software Testing Qualification Board (ICE-STQB) has been established (with me in the Advisory Board) which took over in executing the certification exams.
