Nicinthya Pajanissamy was a great and wonderful human and student

Nicinthya Pajanissamy in the field by Stadahraun in summer of 2024.

Nicinthyas Pajanissamy reached out to us for a summer project some years back, and struck me as curious, bright and level headed young woman. She and her friend Ines worked with us in the summer of 2024 and did very good science. Nicinthya was very much liked by all members of the lab. She was kind and considerate, helpful and inquisitive.

She passed away way to young, at the end of summer. Her death is a terrible, terrible loss. We offer the Pajanissamy family our most heartfelt condolences.
Arnar Palsson, with warmest greetings from other lab members, Guðbjörg, Kenedy, Ruhila, Andreas and Rafn.
