Lake M\u00fdvatn in north Iceland is unique for its biota and geology. To commemorate 50 years of research on the lake, and the retirement of \u00c1rni Einarsson a meeting was held there last week. Multiple scientists came to describe the hydrology, ecology and evolution of the organisms and ecosystem in the lake.<\/p>\n

The programme was quite extensive and interesting - M\u00fdvatn research conference 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n
