The party also sent letters to Vi\u00f0reisn, Bright Future, Social Democratic Alliance and Left-Green Movement about the possibility of forming an alliance prior to the election. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mbl.is\/frettir\/kosning\/2016\/10\/17\/their_aetla_ad_vera_adal_3\/#\">This is new in Icelandic politics.
