Call for posters/demos

JOINT WG1/WG3 CALL FOR POSTERS/DEMOS

WG1 and WG3 are issuing a joint call for posters/demos to be presented at the annual EnetCollect meeting in Naples. All topics related to WG1 and WG3 aims are welcome, but this time we are particularly encouraging posters or demos on the following topics:

-               crowdsourcing projects or experiments that have not yet been presented at EnetCollect meetings

-               ideas for uses of crowdsourcing related to the EnetCollect aims. Presentations of planned projects or submitted project proposals are particularly welcome.

-               how to motivate crowdsourcers, i.e. learners, teachers or the general public, to participate in crowdsourcing tasks or to promote crowdsourcing for language learning in general.

One of the aims of the poster/demo session is for the presenters to get feedback from the meeting participants, and to discuss potential collaborations. Poster stands and tables for demos will be made available. Please note that for demos the authors are expected to bring your own laptop.

Short abstracts presenting the poster/demo (up to 300 words excluding references) should be sent by 10th February to Iztok Kosem (iztok.kosem@cjvt.si) and Branislav Bedi (brb19@hi.is). The authors of accepted abstracts will receive invitations to the meeting, and will be reimbursed by COST. In case of co-authored posters/demos, initially only one invitation per poster/demo will be offered, and others depending on the availability.
