G\u00edsli hefur rita\u00f0 fj\u00f6lda greina um n\u00fdsk\u00f6punarmennt og h\u00f6nnun og sm\u00ed\u00f0i og gefi\u00f0 \u00fat nokkrar kennslub\u00e6kur.<\/p>\n

Gisli Thorsteinsson,\u00a0<\/em>is a Professor at Iceland University of Education, in the Department of Design and Craft Education. \u00a0At present, he is also a PhD student at Loughborough University in England, where he is exploring the pedagogical values of using Virtual Reality Learning Environment for improving ideation in the context of Innovation Education in Iceland.\u00a0 Gisli was the Chairman of the \u201cAssociation of Icelandic Design and Craft Teachers\u201d from 1995-2005 and the chair of the NST \u201cThe Nordic Sloyd Association\u201d from 2001-2004. \u00a0From 2000-2004 he was on the Board of \u2018Nordfo\u2019, the \u201cNordic Research Association in Sloyd\u201d. 2001-2003 he coordinated the European project InnoEd and has been rewarded with numerous of grants from different sources for various educational activities.\u00a0 In 1999 he was involved in the National Curriculum development for Information Technology and Technology Education in Iceland and wrote the curriculum part for \u201cDesign and Craft Education\u201d. Gisli has written numerous articles on Design and Craft Education and the use of ICT and ODL in Education.\u00a0 He has also published several textbooks about Innovation Education.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
