{"id":4919,"date":"2024-08-26T11:53:30","date_gmt":"2024-08-26T11:53:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uni.hi.is\/helmut\/?p=4919"},"modified":"2025-01-24T10:49:55","modified_gmt":"2025-01-24T10:49:55","slug":"cybersecurity-grant-for-icelandic-sme-companies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uni.hi.is\/helmut\/2024\/08\/26\/cybersecurity-grant-for-icelandic-sme-companies\/","title":{"rendered":"Cybersecurity grants for Icelandic SME companies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Update 12\/2024:<\/strong> The results of what get funded are now available at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rannis.is\/frettir\/fyrsta-uthlutun-netoryggisstyrks-eyvarar\">Rann\u00eds<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stjornarradid.is\/efst-a-baugi\/frettir\/stok-frett\/2024\/12\/09\/Fyrsta-uthlutun-netoryggisstyrks-Eyvarar\/\">ministry even provides more details<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Icelandic Smaller and Middle-size Enterprises (SMEs) can now apply for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rannis.is\/frettir\/netoryggisstyrkur-eyvarar-ncc-is-auglysir-eftir-umsoknum\">cybersecurity-related funding<\/a> for<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>strengthening cybersecurity culture and awareness,<\/li>\n<li>efficient education, research and development,<\/li>\n<li>secure digital services and innovation,<\/li>\n<li>stronger law enforcement, defense and national security,<\/li>\n<li>effective response to incidents, and<\/li>\n<li>strong infrastructure, technology and legal framework.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is in the context of <a href=\"https:\/\/uni.hi.is\/helmut\/2024\/04\/04\/official-eyvor-ncc-is-kickoff\/\">Eyv\u00f6r \u2013 the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre of Iceland (NCC-IS)<\/a>.
