H\u00e9r fyrir ne\u00f0an m\u00e1 sj\u00e1 r\u00e1\u00f0stefnukalli\u00f0 sj\u00e1lft.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Call for panels<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Suggested topics include, but are not restricted to, explorations of:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 nonfiction in translation<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 nonfiction as translation<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 nonfiction genres and their boundaries and tensions, including but not limited to: essay (personal, narrative, lyric, collage, interdisciplinary, etc.); memoir; immersion writing; history; biography; long-form journalism; travel writing; food writing; nonfiction poetry; sports writing; hybrids of fiction and nonfiction<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 non-traditional forms of nonfiction, including but not limited to: performance, documentary, radio, video, hypertext, programmable media and graphic forms<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 regional, national, and\/or international characteristics and issues that are expressed through nonfiction genres<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 threads of influence, style, and discourse, with a focus on important authors or on historical\/cultural\/theoretical trends<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the poetics of nonfiction<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 representations of self and other in nonfiction<\/p>\n<p>Please note:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0We especially encourage international and culturally diverse panels.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0We encourage panels conceived as lively, discursive, playful and interactive \u2013 as against readings of a succession of individual papers.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Individuals may appear on up to 3 panel proposals and may present on 2.
