Professor in Educational Leadership and Management. School of Education, University of Iceland \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n I have been involved in research on school leadership in Iceland for 25 \u00a0years. I\u00b4m particularily interested in values and gender, how these constructs relate to leadership and\u00a0their impact on the actions of leaders.<\/p>\n I\u00b4m a board member in two active research centers, Center for Research in Educational Leadership and Program Evaluation,\u00a0 http:\/\/stofnanir.hi.is\/stjornun-nyskopun-mat<\/a> and Center for Research on Equality, Gender and Education, http:\/\/stofnanir.hi.is\/rannkyn\/<\/a><\/p>\n I chaired the Icelandic Educational Research Association (IERA) in 2008-2012. The Association publishes the Journal of Educational Research<\/i> once a year in collaboration with the University of Iceland Press: http:\/\/fum.is\/?page_id=1010<\/a><\/p>\n For 15 years I\u00b4ve particiapated in ENIRDELM, European Network for Improving Research and Development in Educational Leadership and Management. In 2011 I chaired the network and organised\u00a0 the conference Education of School Leaders.The Ethical Dimension, <\/i>in Iceland with my colleagues.
