Welcome to my website. My name is Svanborg Rannveig J\u00f3nsd\u00f3ttir and I am a professor at the School of Education University of Iceland. ORCID\u00a0 <\/a>https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-8194-0939<\/p>\n

My speciality is in innovation and entrepreneurial education. I head the Centre for Research on Creativity in Education<\/a> at the School of Education.<\/p>\n

European prjojects I have been involved in:<\/p>\n

Project coordinator in the Entrepreneurship 360<\/em> project. Launched i October 2019, fist official face to face meeting in January 2020 in Iceland. This project is about supporting actors in all sectors of the lifelong learning system to enhance the development, validation and recognition of the entrepreneurship key competence across lifelong learning<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Participant in he MakEY p<\/strong><\/a>roject: \u2018Makerspaces in the early years: Enhancing digital literacy and creativity<\/em>\u2019 (MakEY) is a 30 month project funded by the EU H2020 Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) programme. It ran from January 2017 \u2013 June 2019. The project aims to further research and innovation in the area of young children\u2019s digital literacy and creative design skills.<\/p>\n

Project coordinator in the European project PEAT-EU<\/em> (Practical Entrepreneurial Assessment Tool for Europe) about developing assessment methods in Entrepreneurship Education. The project launched in October 2016 and will finish in autumn 2018. The main outcomes of the project are available at\u00a0http:\/\/entreassess.com<\/a><\/p>\n

Participant the University of Iceland School of Education in the European project Find your inner invento<\/em>r, lead by the TECHNICKA UNIVERZITA OSTRAVA in the Czheck Republic.<\/p>\n

I represented the University of Iceland in the ADEPTT project - ended in October 2013.<\/p>\n

Research interests:<\/strong> Collective teacher efficacy, creativity in education, innovation and entrpreneurial education, supervision of masters projects, inclusive education and curriculum development.<\/p>\n
