My MS thesis was titled:<em> Drug-protein binding interactions, measured by the mean of flow injection analysis.\u00a0<\/em>In 1990 I graduated with PhD (as well as <em>Licenciatus Pharmaciae<\/em>) from the same University. The title of my thesis was: <em>Intranasal application of insulin. Pharmaceutical and physiological factors affecting successful absorption of insulin.\u00a0<\/em>My supervisor was Dr. Erik Bechgaard.<\/p>\n<p>After graduation, the family moved to Tokyo, Japan, where I worked as a PostDoctoral fellow (1990-1991) at the <strong>National Institute of Health of Japan<\/strong>, focusing on the project: <em>Intranasal immunization against influenzae using cholera toxin B subunit<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Relevant\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><b><i>authorizations<\/i><\/b>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><em><strong>Chemical Warfare<\/strong> \u2013 compounds, analysis and treatment. <\/em>From the\u00a0Danish Emergency Management Agency (1985).<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Radioactive isotopes in biomedicine<\/em><\/strong> from\u00a0August Kroch Institute, University of Copenhagen (1988) and the\u00a0National Institute of Health of Japan, Tokyo (1990).<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Laboratory Animal Science<\/em><\/strong>, from\u00a0The Royal Danish School of Veterinary and Agricultural Science (1990) and from\u00a0Scandinavian Federation for Laboratory Animal Science (1991).<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Biohazards<\/em><\/strong>, from the\u00a0National Institute of Health of Japan, Tokyo (1990).<\/li>\n<li>Authorization from Ministry of Health to be allowed to have the title \"expert in the field of <strong><em>Biopharmacy <\/em><\/strong>and <strong><em>Clinical Pharmacokinetics<\/em><\/strong>\"<strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>(1994)<\/li>\n<li>Authorization from the Icelandic Medical Agency to act as <strong><em>qualified person (QP)<\/em><\/strong> for the production of pharmaceuticals (2002)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Education: In 1986 I graduated with MS in Pharmacy (Candidatus Pharmaciae) from University of Copenhagen, Faculty of \u00a0 Pharmaceutical Sciences.
