\nI am a Clinical Nurse Specialist in critical care nursing and the Director of Herm\u00cds, the national healthcare simulation center in Iceland. I lead simulation-based education at Landsp\u00edtali \u2013 The National University Hospital of Iceland, and serve as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Iceland, focusing on emergency and intensive care nursing.
\nAs one of the pioneers of simulation training in Iceland, I have played a central role in developing, expanding, and professionalizing simulation-based education for healthcare providers at the national level. My work centers on improving patient safety, strengthening clinical competence, and advancing interprofessional teamwork through high-quality, evidence-based simulation.<\/p>\n
