Teaching interests
I have mainly taught 19th and 20th century social and economic history of Iceland and Europe. Courses include modern Icelandic economic history, the history of consumer society, economic history of the family, economic history of modern Europe and North-America, globalization, history of capitalism, historiography and philosophy of history. I now teach an undergraduate course, Economic and social history of Iceland since 1800.
