A week in Bergen

Haraldur Bernharðsson, 2. June 2011

I spent a week in Bergen at the invitation of the Centre for Medieval Studies at the University of Bergen and gave a talk on language change and variation in 14th-century Icelandic. Thanks to Elsa Mundal and Sverre Bagge for the invitation. I also used the opportunity to have a meeting with Odd Einar Haugen and others from the MENOTEC project (Medieval Norwegian Text Corpus).
