Drög að bók?

I am very slowly moving towards a book on what I call “the (grand) challenges of education”. Some of which are specifically discussed under the heading, Research interests. I suggest that there are six issues that should be highlighted, i.e., 1) the mapping of the future onto education  in connection with the discussion of educational aims for the middle of the 21st century and the impediments to change; 2) the use of research and data to mould change, 3) the acceptance of a system of LLL - or rather of LLL within the system, but also 4) what it means to educate for a democratic society, and why this is important; 5) the importance of involving teachers as initiators of change and the dilemmas involved and 6) finally how teacher education should or might be be conducted.
