How Do Little Frogs Fly? Small States in the International System

kermitAs part of A Taste of Iceland in New York, the Icelandic American Chamber of Commerce and the Consulate General of Iceland in New York invites you to a lecture lead by Professor Baldur Thorhallsson, 'Class of 1955' Visiting Professor of International Studies at Williams College, Massachusetts, at the Consulate General of Iceland in New York on October 4th.

The focus of the lecture will be on the role of small states in the international system. Topics to be discussed will include: Vulnerability of Small States, Domestic Arrangement & Democratic Corporatism, External Arrangement & Alliance Formation, and a discussion regarding how small states can become proactive.

The lecture takes place on Friday, October 4th from 4-5 PM, followed by an hour-long networking session. The Consulate General of Iceland in New York is located at 800 Third Avenue, 36th Floor. There is limited seating so please RSVP to iacc@mfa.is before October 2nd
