Advising the Scottish Parliament

skoska þingiðHad a meeting with the European and External Relations Committee of the Scottish Parliament where I and two other academics answered questions from Scottish parliamentarians on small states in the EU and in the international system, and the potential role of an independent Scotland in this respect. This was due to the upcoming referendum in Scotland on whether or not the country should become an independent state (see paper, Scotland as an independent small state)
